Dear Parents and guardians,

 

A warm welcome to all our pre-kindergartners! We hope you had a wonderful summer and are ready for this year’s learning adventure. Pre-kindergarten is a time for children to expand their love of learning, their general knowledge, and their ability to get along with others. We use Creative Curriculum as our primary educational program along with a host of other online educational programs. Ms. Chapman and I would like to welcome you to our Google Classroom! I am Mrs. S. Jones, the pre-kindergarten teacher for Room 103. I have been teaching for 18 years, two years of which were spent teaching kindergarten. This school year will be my second year teaching pre-kindergarten. I am married and the proud parent of two adult children. My oldest child is a Registered Nurse and works at a local hospital while my second child is a student at Iowa State pursuing a degree in Political Science.

 

This is Ms. Chapman’s first time assisting pre-kindergarten. Ms. Chapman started working at Ryder last October and has a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies with a focus in art and education from the University of Illinois at Springfield. In her spare time, she likes to paint and practice her photography.
